When newlyweds Jason and Lizelle Mafes decided to open their own computer repair business, they came up with the perfect name to express how they feel: Computer Care.  “We named our company Computer Care, because we really do care for the computers we service and we care about our customers, too,” says Jason, adding “We talk to our customers on a level they understand, no matter what their computing skill level is. Our goal is to provide fast, reliable and affordable computer service.”
 

Opened in June 2003, the technicians at Computer Care work on both PC's and Mac's, both desktop's and laptop's. And, yes, they provide on-site service.

Jason suggests coming to see him before you throw out your old computer, it is far more cost effective. Since Computer Care has all the components for testing, just bring in the box or tower portion to their convenient location next to Dunkin’ Donuts in Pearl City.
“Over the past six months, virus and spyware removal has been the number one service we have offered,” Jason says. “We have a special way to remove any malicious software infecting a computer system, and then we let our customers know what to do in the future to prevent the problem from returning." “For hard drive crashes, we do have a way of recovering data, and are successful at getting your data back about 90% of the time.”  Plus, they offer a Service Guarantee.  “If you are not completely satisfied with our service, the problem is remedied fast and free.”

Since Computer Care does not sell computers, you know they are not trying to make a sale if the suggested remedy to your problem is buying a new computer.  “We will always advise you of ALL of your options, even if they aren’t necessarily in our best interests,” explains Jason. "Your relationship with your computer can be a love/hate relationship,” Jason notes. “When it’s working, you love it. When it’s not, you're frustrated. We can help get you back to loving your computer. I really enjoy seeing customers happy with a fixed computer.”
